All of our varieties are suitable for growing in the Spring season and we package these in convenient pack sizes.
CENTURION F1

WHITE ONION SETS
This first-rate onion is strong growing and will produce a heavy, early maturing crop, even in our indifferent British summers. An even skin colour and uniform globe shaped bulbs, together with good keeping ability make it an ideal show bench subject.

RED ONION SETS
Spring planting, mid to late maturing reliable red variety. Red Baron has flattish-round bulbs of a dark red colour. It has a stronger flavour than some red onions. This RHS AGM variety is an excellent cropping onion which stores well.

GOLDEN GOURMET

ROUND SHALLOTS
An RHS AGM variety which produces a high yield. Gourmet is easy to grow and produces large brown skinned bulbs. This is a Spring planting variety which will store well into the winter.

ROUND SHALLOTS
This variety Spring planting variety has an attractive red tinged skin. Red Sun produces good yields of crisp, white fleshed bulbs of excellent quality for cooking, salads or pickling. Bulbs have long storage potential.

GERMIDOUR

GARLIC
A well-known and reliable French garlic variety, ‘Germidour’, with distinct violet stripes, that is well adapted to British conditions. This softneck variety produces large, white bulbs with a mild but rich flavour. It is successful for early Sping planting and keeps well.

ELEPHANT GARLIC

GARLIC
Elephant Garlic is not a true garlic but a stem leek, which produces massive bulbs approximately 10cm (4″) in diameter. The cloves are also much larger than conventional garlic with a milder taste, making it suitable for a wide choice of culinary uses, especially roasting. This Hardneck garlic is suitable for Spring planting.
