A series of Eco Home events in October 2024 are planned to provide advice and encouragement to folk in Chesterfield and Derbyshire who want to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint. These are organised by community and environmental groups across Derbyshire. Three online events, open to anyone, will feature presentations by experts and homeowners who will describe their experiences of making their homes more eco friendly and answer questions. In addition there will be a face to face session in Dronfield where homeowners can get free 1-to-1 advice from retrofit professionals.
