A series of Eco Home events were held in October 2024 to provide advice and encouragement to folk in Chesterfield and Derbyshire who want to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint. These wre organised by community and environmental groups across Derbyshire. Three online events, featured presentations by experts and homeowners who described their experiences of making their homes more eco friendly and answered questions. In addition there was also a face to face session in Dronfield where homeowners could get free 1-to-1 advice from retrofit professionals organised by the HEAT Hub. Insulation and moisture organised by Wirksworth Community Land Trust. With expert speaker Keir Windsor of UK Hempcrete and local homeowners who have insulated their homes. Recording is only available to the ticket holders for the event.
