On the eve of the COP26 international climate talks in Glasgow… This film tells the incredible life story of David Attenborough and the changes he has witnessed during his lifetime. With his unique experience and wisdom, he grapples with some of the biggest challenges facing life on our planet. With it comes a powerful message of hope for future generations as he puts forward the solutions to help save our planet from disaster.
After the film we will change the position of our chairs to have a short discussion:
Brief explanation of COP26 UN climate change conference, to be held in Glasgow in November, and what Chesterfield Climate Alliance is doing
Discussion about what individual and collective actions we can take in Chesterfield to ensure we continue David Attenborough’s legacy into the future
Tickets are free, however a donation is suggested to cover the cost of the room. Arrival from 1.45pm. Screening starts at 2pm.
