Saturday 6 November, 12pm
Assemble at Shentall Gardens, Rose Hill (opposite Town Hall) to march to New Square
World leaders will meet in Glasgow from 1-12th November for the COP26 international climate talks. At the summit, they will decide who is to be sacrificed, who will escape and who will make a profit. Justice won’t be delivered to us by leaders or corporations. Only we can imagine and build the future that works for us all.
On the 6th Nov, movements across the world are taking action in decentralised mass mobilisations – from indigenous struggles to trade unions, from racial justice groups to youth strikers.
Join the march and rally in Chesterfield. Assemble to march at 12.00 noon at Shentall Gardens, Rose Hill, opposite Chesterfield Town Hall. March to rally in New Square with poems, speeches and music.
A chance to see the oil monster who will be joining the march.
Event hosted by the Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Climate Alliance
