There has never been a better time to talk about composting! Households need to dispose of their garden and food waste. Composting enables you to turn green waste into a valuable soil improver, saves money on buying commercial compost and reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions produced by rotting organic waste in landfill.
Join Malcolm for a short free workshop to learn the basics and start your journey to becoming a “composterator”! Chance to find out about the do’s and don’ts of making your own compost and to put your questions to someone with lots of experience. Note that these workshops will be held outdoors at the Transition Chesterfield market stall – seating is not provided.
Saturday 10th August Either 10.30am – 11am or 11.30am – 12noon
