Solar PV and batteries

29 October @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

With the cost of solar PV panels and battery storage coming down and the average household electricity bill costing over £700/year, is now the time to think about installing them and making your home more eco-friendly?

This online workshop will explore how solar panels and batteries can provide a better, greener way to power our homes. This workshop will include renewable energy expert John Beardmore of T4 Sustainability who will give a presentation about the technologies and four homeowners from across Derby and Derbyshire who have installed solar panels and battery storage to power their homes (and electric cars). The owners will talk about their systems and experiences, including cost and savings, ease of installation, how they use them and the pros and cons. John and the homeowners will be available for a Q&A session at the end.

Please register here for the workshop.

This event is organised by Transition Chesterfield and is the third in a series of Derbyshire-wide events to promote eco-homes. The other online events are:
