Who is HEAT Hub?

Home Energy Advice Team Hub (HEAT Hub) is a new Government funded project, delivered by charities Nottingham Energy Partnership (NEP) and Marches Energy Agency (MEA) across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

NEP and MEA are working alongside the Midlands Net Zero Hub and the Local Authorities Energy Partnership (LAEP) to work with local homeowners who are thinking about going greener. HEAT Hub delivers impartial advice and a reliable step by step energy plan, simplifying the switch to low-carbon systems and helping you to avoid making expensive mistakes.

Can the HEAT Hub help me?

Traditional homes that are not connected to the gas grid, located in conservation areas, or difficult to heat up, often face barriers when it comes to decarbonisation. This is because these homes are uniquely constructed and require careful consideration when installing renewable technologies and energy efficiency upgrades. Trying to navigate planning systems or find a reputable installer can feel like risky business when you do it alone, so HEAT Hub are here to support you in making the best decisions for your home.

HEAT Hub’s tailored support simplifies this process at no cost to the homeowner, working with you to offer impartial guidance regardless of your existing knowledge or property type. Tailored support is crucial, not only to preserve the heritage and quality of your home, but also to maximise any investments made in your energy efficiency journey.

The free Home Energy Plans are adapted to offer different levels of support depending on your house type. For example, providing practical guidance and planning advice for traditional homes where construction differs from contemporary housing. The plans also assess your property’s suitability for renewable upgrades, such as Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV Panels. With wide-ranging support, these plans are designed to help you prepare for a greener future.

Join the HEAT Hub in Chesterfield and take the first step in better understanding your home’s energy potential.
